Bright, Hot and Sunny away from Cold, Rainy and Grey

And these aren't even my best photos during those two weeks. From looking at them, you can just tell that they weren't taken in England. And also you may have noticed I was totally inactive during those two weeks (especially on Scratch, where I'm guessing I have about 100 messages to reply to now <:O). Well okay, that's because I was on holiday in Morocco. :D And before and during, I didn't have much time to actually post or comment or reply or anything. :/

So yeah, I'm back now! It was totally awesome, the best holiday I've had in a long time! :D (And that's saying a lot, because I often do have some awesome holidays XD) In total, I've got over 1100 photos on my camera, most of which I need to sort out. O.O'

In any case, I'm hopefully going to be posting a big bunch of photos from my holiday on my NG Kids My Shot account and make a presentation about Morocco and share a poem about scenery in Morocco on my writing blog. It all sounds exciting!! <:D But I might not get round to finishing it all for a while because school starts up again tomorrow already. -.-

Anyway, hope you'll enjoy looking at these... uh, three photos? <:D

And please, please, please vote in the poll on the right underneath "About Me" if you can. I could really do with a couple more votes! Thanks if you've already voted, though - I really appreciate it! ^^

  1. Just so you know, "Cold, Rainy and Grey" is a common, useful and perfect way of describing England.

  2. Hey Kenza! :D It looks like a great holiday destination! I love the date tree foliage photo the best-it's a very clear picture considering how detailed it is. I can imagine some of your photos on the front of postcards. :) Erm...you may have a lot of comments...from me....on scratch...and erm...one on here...ooops. I didn't know you were away. :/ By the way I'll do the food tag you tagged me in very soon. I'm just thinking of some ideas and I've been quite busy with my blog and a few other things. :) I've already voted on the poll-how did you create it? :D
PS: sorry if this comment has been posted twice I forgot to click notify me-if you reply then this is the one you should do it on. :)

    1. Hey Mega! :D It definitely was! Everyday was really enjoyable: there's so much to take pictures of, you just can't take everything. XD Aw, thanks so much! I didn't know they were that brilliant! <:D Lol, I saw them! I'm glad to receive messages from you though - yours are awesome! :D That's great! But seriously, take your time! I'm looking forward to see yours, though. I totally understand you being busy! ^^

Awesome, thanks for voting! :) I went into "Layout", clicked on "Add a Gadget" and added the Poll gadget from the main list. Hope this helps! You can even drag it around to where you want it to be.

That's okay! Is it okay if I remove the other one so there's no confusion? :3

  3. Goodness, I've been inactive in checking your blogs this week, apologies!! D: And omg Morocco! YES. Omg that place always seems too beautiful. المغرب. Grand, really grand! I've never been there, but just telling by the photos, it seems like such a wonderful place! :O Ooh! such beautiful foliage, it's unlike anything we have here in the U.S.! (Except for oranges, which my state is famous for LOL) Awesome! Haha, good luck replying to your comments! xD I'd hate to give you more! And welcome back, you were deeply missed! <3 :'D

    1. Pfffft! You're always in time for my posts! I'm the one who hasn't posted in ages. XD You're being too kind, missy! u.u YES IT'S AMAZING!! :DD (And that's saying too little!) ! نام نام XD YES you should totally visit it if you ever get the chance! <:D Omg ikr? In the UK we have none of it - you plant a date tree here and it'll most likely die or suffer from cold, at least. -.- LOL! And saying that, Morocco is famous for tangerines (the name, tangerines, it comes from the port in the north of Morocco, Tangiers - you probably know about it already, lol X'D) Yeah, I had a fun time spending about 3 hours replying to messages on Scratch (I hadn't even finished it all until the next day ;-;). But no, I love your comments! >:O Omg thanks, well I really missed you too! <3

  4. Ha, Ha! Cool name, Kenza!
Wow! These photos are so great! You're really awesome at Photography. I especially like the first picture where you've focused on the plant and left the rest of the surrounding a blur. And the second one's too! Keep it up!!!

And btw,I voted! Majority of the votes are for Frozen! Wen are you going to make the Fanart???

    1. LOL well it's definitely accurate!

Aw, thanks so much, Zainab!! I always appreciate reading your comments! :D The word for that, apparently, is a bokeh - where you focus the square (that shows up when you lightly press on the button) on one part and leave the rest blurred. :)

That's great - thanks for voting! :D Hopefully today if I don't go without sharing that post. XD I've actually made all the fanart, but haven't shared it yet. So Frozen won! No wonder! I'll consider that. Only I hope I don't sound annoying, but I'm going to extend the deadline so that some people I know irl can make a vote. Hope you don't mind! <:D

  5. Awesome pictures! You really have a gift for photography. I especially love the 'Hibiscus bokeh' picure. :) But hey! You said that the weather in Morocco was pretty hot, and oranges are winter fruits - so how can oranges be there in summers? In Pakistan, we get oranges in winters. :/ *confused*

    1. Or was it winters? But you said it must be about 40 degrees! I don't know, maybe they're available in summers too...

    2. Thank you sososo much, Fatima!! ;D Yeah, it is! Wait, winter fruits? Ohh, does that mean Pakistan is closer to the equator? Because in Morocco, I think oranges are only there until around October? I'll have to find out somewhere. XD Maybe I'll ask my cousin. Maybe they're still there in December, but I seem to remember my cousins saying it snowed there this year. Or maybe that was in January. Yeah, this is really confusing! 8D

    3. Wait, are the ones in Pakistan sweet and juicy? Because in Morocco, I think a lot of them you see around the towns and cities are really sour and pretty much inedible. :/

    4. Yes, the ones in Pakistan are sweet and juicy. And they're really awesome! Sour and inedible? Ugh! Well, maybe they're another type or something. Yes, Pakistan is closer too the equator, but it's not on the equator, it's just above it. I think Morocco lies on the equator, doesn't it? :D

    5. That's great then! :D And actually, I made a mistake! XD Oranges grown in orchards, gardens, etc. in Morocco will most likely be really sweet (they're known to be with tangerines) but the ones you see planted around the cities with the cars driving past are often ornamental and really bitter (some might not be though). Oh okay! No, Morocco doesn't lie on the equator, but I just checked Google Maps right now, and it looks like Morocco is on pretty much the same line as Pakistan! That's cool. :D

    1. Thanks so much for the link! I just read it - it's totally awesome! I'm not sure I've mentioned it yet, but I'm also Moroccan, so it was really interesting for me to read! :D I visited Fez (some people spell it Fes, but I spell it Fez, just because of the Fez hat XD) and it's definitely a place worth visiting! Moroccan cakes are definitely an absolute delicacy too. :D Thanks again for sending me this! And that reminds me - I should subscribe to the blog. :)
